|Cheri's Chocolate Ice Cream
3 cups half and half
3 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch chocolate
1/2 cup granular fructose or 2/3 cup granular dextrose
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons pure Vanilla extract
In a double boiler, combine half and half, chocolate, fructose/dextrose, and salt. Bring to boil stiring constantly. Cook for 3-5 minutes until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Store in pint mason jar or freeze in ice cube tray for later use.
