Sucraid or other enzyme replacement for sucrose for all phenotypes may be required for this recipe.
|Finches' Honey Herbed Sauce|
1/4 cup honey, any flavor
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon rosemary (ground in mortar)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
In a 1 quart sauce over low heat, combine all ingredients and cook down until very dark in color, stiring constantly. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes until thick.
Holiday, serve with duck or goose.
