Phenotypes A, B, C, D, E, F
Sucraid or other enzyme replacement for sucrose for all phenotypes is required for this recipe.
Glemser's Marinated Raw Vegetables

2-3 cups of any combination of the following raw vegetables:
        Cauliflower, florets
        Broccoli, florets
        Brussels sprouts
        Celery, cut in 1 inch slices
        Cucumber, peeled, sliced in 1 inch chunks
        Squash, yellow summer, sliced
        Squash, zucchini, sliced
        Mushrooms, button, washed
        Tomatoes, cherry
1 cup salad dressing of choice
1 bunch basil leaves (optional)


This is a make ahead recipe that stores well for 2-3 days in the refrigerator for am after school snack. It can also be packed in a school lunch.

In a large storage bag or tupperware container, mix together all ingredients except basil and marinate for 12 hours. Drain and serve in bowl with cleaned basil leaves on the side. Our teens like to wrap the vegetables in basil just before eating, but this is not necessary.
