Sucraid or other enzyme replacement for sucrose for all phenotypes is required for this recipe.
|Glemser's Italian Broiled Tomatoes|
2 large ripe tomatoes sliced in 1/2 inch slices
1/2 tablespoon olive oil or walnut oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (phenotypes B and C, omit for phenotypes A, D & F)
2 tablespoons freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried thyme
pinch of oregano
pinch of salt
Preheat oven broiler and adjust rack to high position. Lay tomatoes on broiler tray and coat each side with olive oil or walnut oil. Then top with spices followed by cheese. Broil for about 1 minute until cheese is brown and forms a crust.
