Sucraid or other enzyme replacement for sucrose for all phenotypes is required for this recipe.
Thai Beef with Basil

Ingredients

2 tablespoons canola oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 red chilies, seeded and thinly sliced
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup beef broth
3 cups fresh basil leaves
2 carrots julienned
4 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon fish sauce (e.g., Nam pla or Nuoc nam)
1 teaspoon granulated fructose
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 medium lime cut into 4 wedges
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a large skillet, cook garlic and chile for 1/2 a minute. Then add ground beef, and salt and pepper and cook through. Add 1/2 of basil to beef and cook until wilted.

In separate bowl add all other ingredients except wedges and mix well. To plate, serve seasoned beef mixture topped with remaining ingredients and lime wedges. This is a colorful dish that can be served with steamed rice (phenotypes B and C).
