Sucraid or other enzyme replacement for sucrose for all phenotypes is required for this recipe.
|French Onion Soup|
900-1000g onion, white or yellow, sliced 1/8th inch strips
5g granulated fructose
30ml vegetable oil
750ml beef stock
1-3g salt (per tase preference)
1g black pepper, ground
1 slice of white cheese per serving (optional)
Fry onions, fructose, in oil until glassy. Add stock and bring to boil. Simmer for 15 minutes, add seasonings to taste. Serve in mugs topped with slice of cheese (browned in broiler) if desired.
