2/3 cup honey
1/3 cup granulated fructose
2 eggs
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup cinnamon
2 cups flour
Plastic drinking straw (McDonald's straw is perfect)
60 to 70 feet of ribbon
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheets with Pam or use parchment paper. In Kitchen-aid bowl mix all ingredients. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick and cut out ornaments. Use drinking straw to make hole for ribbon 1/4 from edge of ornament. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. While baking cut ribbon in 10 to 12 inch pieces. When ornament is cooled and rock hard, thread ribbon through hole and hang on tree. Makes 5 dozen ornaments. We give these to neighbors as well. They make your house smell like christmas!
