|Cheri's Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting|
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups powdered fructose or 1-1/2 cups granular fructose
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
2 tablespoons unsweetened powdered Dutch chocolate.
1 tablespoon milk
To make powdered fructose, use a KitchenAid® All Metal Grain Mill KitchenAid® attached to your mixer. Set the grain to desired consistancy. You can also use granular fructose but you need to make this frosting a day ahead and then mix it again before using in order to allow the fructose to dissolve, this will prevent a grainy texture.
Cream all incredients together and and beat until light and fluffy. If mixture is too thick for spreading, add a few additional drops of milk. This will yield about 1-1/2 cups frosting.
